We spend countless hours trying to define ‘who we are’ which is akin to nailing Jell-O to a wall. And this brings us back to Alice and the caterpillar.

” Who are YOU? ” said the Caterpillar.

Alice replied, rather shyly, “ I–I hardly know, sir, just at present– at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.”

Alice is questioning the possible transition of her identity.  She recognizes that something about her has changed and is confused by the situation.  The confusion stems from the memory she has of herself prior to falling down a rabbit hole.  Our dreams are a similar experience to that of Alice but we do not recall our prior identity unless the dream is lucid.  And in that case we simply realize that we are dreaming and not confused about the situation.  Instead of confusion, as demonstrated by Alice, we accept the arbitrary identity and experiment with control over the dream state (flying etc.).  If we did not use the tag of ‘I am dreaming’ then confusion would occur.  The point of this is that how we conceptualize context and identity is quite arbitrary.  Reality and identity is a process of perception: it is what we say it is.

The case for identity being arbitrary (how we see our self) seems almost self evident.  But how can context, the nuts and bolts of the third dimension, be arbitrary?  Something either is or it is not….right?  Well according to some researchers the 3rd dimension may be nothing more than a hologram. 

“…the universe actually exists in two dimensions and the third is an illusion produced by the intertwining of time and depth. But the false third dimension can’t be perceived as such, because nothing travels faster than light, so instruments can’t find its limits.” Reference

Down at the subsurface level of existence, what we see is not necessarily a reflection of how things operate.  And what has to be taken into account at all levels is “effect of the observer'”.  What seems to get lost in trying to communicate this little quirk of existence is that it is responsible for the entire perceived package.   Without the observer there is no 3rd dimension. Is the dream state any less real than the waking state since both require an observer?

Of course you can insist that there is a linear real world just chuck full of random events that at any moment could tag you as the next victim. However, that would require ignoring what we know regarding subsurface physics. Once you start looking at the Universe as a gathering of photons you begin to understand that chaos is just not in the cards. In fact it seems almost impossible to find anything that is a random event. Even the once touted random event of radio active decay seems to lack scientific agreement about it being random: it appears to have a pattern.

So what or who does all the choreography of this magnificent state of existence? One possibility is the cooperation between photons.  The photons carry the messages to construct the dance routine.  And who is sending the messages?  Answer that question and you enter the cross over point between consciousness and photons.  Some call it the consciousness of All That Is and   that includes you.  Others simply use the word God.  Regardless of what you call it…it is intelligent design.  Poe said it best, “All that we see or seem. Is but a dream within a dream.” The choice is yours.

What is fascinating is that the arbitrary individual identities seem to have the ability to cluster into a sort of global consciousness. Anyone who believes there is no order to the Universe is just not looking at all the data. These clusters appear to be photons that actually have an agenda. “correlations between paired photons over space-like separated regions, do, in fact^ hold over any distance instantly, or in "no time.” Gary Zukav, in his classic book of Quantum physics reports similar results.  There is no reason to assume that a photon could not belong to more than one cluster. 

But is there any practical application of these ideas? (I’m not using the word ‘fact’ or ‘truth’ because it is all quite extraordinarily arbitrary.)  Even if the context is arbitrary we still experience it.  We still have to find a way to live within this intelligent design.  It all boils down to one of two options.  As stated before you can simply view it and assume you are simply a victim of events or you can begin mental observation of the photons and engage in some direct construction of the messages.  The later has two terms to describe the process: ‘prayer’ or ‘create your own reality’.  It doesn’t matter which you choose since the outcome is essentially the same.  And that is, something changes by your focus of attention.  It becomes manifest because there is you as the observer. 

So what does any of this have to to with being slaves to some extraterrestrials who think of themselves as Gods?  If you were part of a ancient civilization that had thousands of years of technological advancement would you really be all that interested in developing a slave population to serve your whims?   Even for our contemporary western civilization the manipulation of DNA is becoming second nature.  Sitchin seems convinced of their motives but I am not.  I suspect they needed lab rats (humans) but their experiments would more likely be in subjective areas (chasing after self awareness beyond death or the causal relationship between photons and consciousness at the edges of the Universe).  Why do I believe this?  Because all self serving tyrants in my own world are always killed and usually at the hands of the proletariat.  They don’t survive long enough to develop civilizations of advanced technology ergo, the extraterrestrials are probably not slavery oriented. The slavery of mankind began with a few sociopathic cave dwellers whose decedents became leaders of today’s governments, religions and Wall Street corporations.  With that said, one might wonder if the secrets of the Obelisks in Axum relate to a possible manufacturers fail safe program for the liberation of homo sapien. 

Note: ‘relative’ means a connection to something else whereas arbitrary is defined as “subject to individual will or judgment without restriction.”  The later is closer to the mark when describing the intelligent design of the universe.
