Don’t you just hate obscure metaphors. LOL …but I couldn’t resist a title of “Fishing in the 3rd dimension”. So what is the metaphor all about? In short its about fishing for what you want to manifest in your life. Yep, its that old saw (2) about “creating your own reality”..It will not happen unless you go fishing for it. Yea, it’s a stretch but it works for me.
There is no doubt in my mind that the process works and there is data to support my supposition. Down at the subsurface level of existence (photons etc.), what our physical senses tell us is not necessarily a reflection of how things operate. Things may appear to be random but in fact there is a pattern. And your focus of attention is an important part of that pattern (3).
Once you start looking at the Universe as a gathering of photons you begin to understand that chaos is just not in the cards. In fact it seems almost impossible to find anything that is a random event. Even the once touted random event of radio active decay seems to lack scientific agreement about it being random: it appears to have a pattern (4).
So what or who does all the choreography of this magnificent state of existence? One possibility is the cooperation between photons. The photons carry the messages to construct the dance routine. And who is directing the choreography? Well again research demonstrates that what happens is directly related to what we expect to happen. The best demonstration of this is in placebo effect (5) that occurs in pharmacology research (5a & 5b).
What you do need to know is that you have a certain amount of control over life space events that seem to defy the laws of science. The most obvious are those events which are characterized under the heading of ‘placebo effects’. “Belief is powerful medicine, even if the treatment itself is a sham. New research shows placebos can also benefit patients who do not have faith in them…(6)”.
You can call it magic, or belief, or communication between photons, or an act of God but it is very real (whatever that means) and at times competitive with external change agents such as pharmaceuticals. Even if you are aware that the external event is a placebo it is effective. The question that scientist are attempting to answer is if the placebo acts directly on the condition or rather the symptoms associated with the condition (7).
The point is you don’t have to know how or why it works in order to benefit from it. What this evidence suggests is that you have a potential for creating change of your physical self by simple conscious thought. All you need to do is go fishing for it. Your thoughts are your fishing tackle. And like any good fisherman you have to be persistent….never give up.
